Returns Procedure:

Although our electronic catalogue is extremely accurate and our experienced staff will double check your order prior to dispatch we appreciate that mistakes do happen so we have a simple returns procedure.

• Any parts returned should be in a re-saleable condition ( exception being exchange surcharged old units, see below for further information)
• The part itself must be in perfect condition and have not been fitted.
• Parts must be returned together with the original packaging and documentation intact and unmarked.
• Download & complete the Online Returns Form  (ORF) within 7 days of delivery of the goods
• The customer is responsible for all postage costs incurred under our Returns Procedure unless otherwise agreed with Otto.
• Otto cannot except liability for goods lost or damaged in transit so please ensure you label your parcel clearly and take out insurance on the parcel if of a high value.
• Pack the goods securely and return together with a printout of the ORF to

Exchange surcharge :

Due to EU recycling legislation a limited number of part references are now sold on an exchange basis and incur a surcharge. This is a refundable deposit which is primarily limited to certain starter motors, alternators, airflow meters, turbo chargers and certain brake callipers. In such cases a deposit will be applicable until we receive the old unit back. This part should be returned in the original box, complete and undamaged within 60 days of the original purchase. In the case of exchange distributors for example the main metal body must be returned together with the old cap and rotor. With starters and alternators the castings must be intact with no broken mounts or missing solenoids. In other words, like for like on exchange products.  To return the part please see Returns section.
