Starter Alternator

When you turn the key in your car, the battery drives an electric starter motor which turns the engine. If your battery is working properly but your engine is slow to turn over or not at all, you may have a faulty starter motor. The alternator works in the opposite direction - rather than turn electrical energy into mechanical it does vice versa. For high quality replacement starter motors and alternators, see this section.
